Rømøpigen

Under our own brand Rømøpigen we sell specialities and products created especially for or by us, e.g. beer and honey.

Rømøpigen means girl from Rømø – and you can see her in the logo: a young woman in the traditional Rømø costume.

Honey

Honey is an unspoiled natural product and is also made by busy bees on our island. Our beekeeper partner fills his best honey pots especially for our Rømøpigen range.

The varieties we sell depend on season and availability: e.g. spring honey, summer honey, forest honey, or lyng honning.

Speciality Beers (Øl)

Denmark is famous for its long brewing tradition. There are many small breweries which follow both traditional and modern brewing methods. Craft beer from independent and creative craft breweries is very much en vogue. The Trolden Bryghus, a microbrewery from Kolding, makes a range of speciality beers just for Havneby Kro and the island of Rømø.

Our speciality beers are unfiltered. Secondary fermentation in the bottle ensures optimal flavour development.

		Rømø Havtornbryg (Rømø Sea Buckthorn Brew) Sea buckthorn is gathered on the island of Rømø. The high vitamin C content of the sea buckthorn lends a slightly tart note. 0.5 litres, 5.4 % alc. vol. kr. 68 (takeaway kr. 45) From our Rømøpigen Range

		Rømøs Darkest is a stout, inspired by old Ireland. During the brewing process we add some English liquorice to give the beer a special flavour.
